Track and Field
Ipswich Grammar School is synonymous with athletic excellence. IGS has dominated the GPS, state and national schoolboy athletics scene for more than 30 years.
IGS has won 11 of the past 15 GPS Championships to go along with seven National Knockout titles and 20 State Knockout titles. The program has produced many national medallists and hundreds of state medallists.
The program is dynamic and progressive, with qualified coaches across all disciplines. Ipswich Grammar athletes are well prepared for GPS, state and national events.
Despite being an individually-based sport, a very real team mentality and culture exists at Ipswich Grammar School. There is a real sense of pride in being part of the Ipswich Grammar School Track and Field Team.
