Academic Scholarships
Ipswich Grammar School offers a range of annual academic scholarships based on outstanding achievement from Year 7 onwards, performance results from CSTP exams and other internal and external programs.
Music Scholarships
Music scholarships are based on merit alone and are awarded for exemplary ability in any instrumental or vocal category in which the music department offers tuition. Scholarship recipients are expected to take private lessons and participate in at least one ensemble each semester.
Sporting Scholarships
Ipswich Grammar School offers a number of scholarships to students who show, or have shown, outstanding talent in their chosen sport. Scholarships support elite athletes throughout their time at IGS, whether they compete at international, regional or county level.
Old Boys' Scholarships
The IGS Old Boys' Association provides scholarships to potential students of Ipswich Grammar School who otherwise may not be able to attend the school.
