Since its inception in 1863, Ipswich Grammar has been more than just an educator of boys, it has been an integral part of the local community and a developing community within itself.

Once a young man joins our school he becomes a 'Man of Grammar' for life.

Ipswich Grammar School serves as a foundation for partnerships that are beneficial to students, families, businesses and government agencies.

Working in conjunction with our families, IGS develops young men who make a positive contribution to the local, state, national and international communities.

From our co-curricular activities, Parents and Friends Associations, Supporters' Groups and Old Boys' Association, our strong sense of community and history sets us apart from other schools.
