Ipswich Grammar School Volleyball has grown into one of the GPS competition’s most fierce competitors. With our First VI team consistently finishing in the top half of the GPS draw in recent years, several of our players have earned places in regional, state and national teams.

Our home Venue is the beautiful indoor sports complex at Ipswich Girls Grammar School, which boasts 3 courts, a mezzanine spectator’s viewing area, a canteen and ample change room facilities. We are grateful to the staff of IGGS for allowing us to use their gymnasium for our GPS season.

For a relatively small secondary school, IGS has no problem fielding 2 or 3 teams per age group and our coaching staff are experienced, enthusiastic and committed to providing opportunities for success for our young athletes. The senior players receive coaching from staff with national and state level experience and an Excellence in Sport subject is available to elite grade 9 and 10 students to concentrate on Volleyball for the GPS season.
