‘Fear None…..Respect All’

Ipswich Grammar School has a long tradition of excellence on the Rugby field for well over 100 years. As a member of the Queensland GPS competition the boys of IGS compete at the highest level of schoolboy rugby each week. With 15 teams competing each week an incredible 300 boys are involved in the Rugby program.

With an aim to improve fitness, skill and overall enjoyment of the game of Rugby the IGS Rugby Department has worked hard with coaches to develop a seamless program as the boys advance through the years.

The pinnacle of all Rugby players at IGS is to be a member of the 1st XV. To wear the white jersey in representing this famous old school is one all boys participating in Rugby dream of.

Rugby is certainly alive and well at Ipswich Grammar and we look forward to continued success in the years ahead
