Chess
Ipswich Grammar has been rewarded with an excellent group of students participating in chess from Years 5 to 12. IGS provides a challenging and enjoyable environment for all players, ranging from those who wish to play socially to those who wish to develop their chess talents to a high level.
Over 60 students compete in GPS Chess competitions and several other tournaments throughout the year, and are backed by the Chess Support Group.
